How quick really is Speed Dating?

Each date is about 3-5min. So it’s pretty quick indeed. But this should not put you off because we can tell you from experience that this is usually a relaxed and fun experience. You don’t have time to run out of conversation and if you don’t really like someone you just move to your next date.

How should I start the conversation?

Well just the way you usually start a conversation, but remember you got about 5 min so don’t waste them talking about the weather! Shortly introduce yourself and stay positive. We recommend that you don’t ask exactly the same questions to all your dates – it will help you remember each conversation more clearly and put a face on them.

How many people will I meet?

You will meet up to 15 or 20 dates. We cannot guarantee that you meet all the people who have come and try to select the people who are most likely to be good matches with you.

Does Speed Dating work?

Yes! Many people have gotten back to us in the days following many of our events to let us know that they found a perfect match. Some lead to great fun, some to relationships and some to marriage.

Is there an age restriction?

When booking for one of our event just check the age group as we aim to avoid having an unbalanced crowd. There are plenty of events for everyone.

What’s the dress code?

Be classy, be comfortable. We expect our guests to be dressed to impress. After all you’re going on a date and you would not want to give a poor impression of yourself. So the key word is usually smart casual as if you come directly from work it’s absolutely fine!

What if I get a match?

If you have a match you get to tick this person on the flirt card provided and will have a chance to get back to them. You can enter the details they will have given you when logging in the next day and start chatting again with them. People can also start talking to you if you decided to give them your details.
